Attendance Policy

REACH events are open exclusively to current REACH members in good standing. The application process remains easy and membership is still free. Folks interested in joining REACH should click on the apply button at the top of the REACH website.

Through the generosity of our hosts and event sponsors at Adtalem, and most especially Adtalem EA and REACH member Linda Colello, purchased tickets for our September REACH event include complimentary light appetizers and drinks.

Tickets and Registration

All event attendees must be REACH members who are registered on our website. We have a new ticketing and RSVP platform through the site and are also implementing policies and procedures that include the option for partial refunds for some registrants who attend the event.

REACH Beyond Tickets (for our early planners and biggest champions!)

REACH Beyond tickets are $10 and will be available for purchase until 5pm on Friday, September 6. REACH Beyond ticketholders who also attend the event on September 19 will have the option to claim either a $5 refund on the purchase of their ticket or earn 25 Loyalty points in their REACH membership account. 

REACH Up Tickets (for the late planner!)

REACH Up tickets will be $15 and will be available for purchase from 5pm on September 6 until 5pm on Friday, September 13. REACH Up ticketholders who also attend the event on September 19 will have the option to claim either a $5 refund on the purchase of their ticket or earn 15 Loyalty points in their REACH membership account.

REACH Out Tickets (for those who almost forget!)

REACH Out tickets will be $20 and will be available for purchase from 5pm on September 13 until 5pm on Wednesday, September 12. REACH Up ticketholders who also attend the event on September 19 will earn 10 Loyalty points in their REACH membership account. 

Loyalty Points

Our Loyalty Points program is in its early stages of development, but we are excited about it! In the near future, members will be able to redeem Loyalty Points toward the ticket cost for REACH events.

As a reminder, 100% of all proceeds from ticket sales, including any portion of a refund you choose to forego in favor of Loyalty Points, go entirely toward offsetting operational costs for REACH and organizing and running future REACH events (and for that, we thank you!). If you attend an event and have a great time, we hope you'll consider contributing your eligible refund in support of future REACH events.

Linda Colello is a longtime champion for the assistant career. She has been an engaged member and advocate of REACH since joining and led the effort to encourage her company, Adtalem, to host our September event. She and her colleague Sandra Thompson and the First Team Chicago EAs are entirely responsible for coordinating the space, F&B, and logistics for our September event, and all of us at REACH are grateful to her and to Adtalem for their support of our profession and understanding of the importance of organizations like REACH.
