Join friends and colleagues for our next Regional Executive Assistants Cocktail Hour! Our May 2024 event will serve as an unofficial and informal "cheers to nominees" for those who are also nominated for an Admin Award the following week at Chicago's Admin Awards Gala. It's a great opportunity to meet other nominees and participants in the program and also share more about your experience with REACH members who may not be familiar with the program. Whether you're involved with the Admin Awards or not, though, we hope you'll join us! 

Attendance Policy

As has always been the case, REACH events are only open to current REACH members in good standing. The application process remains easy and membership is still free. Folks interested in joining REACH should click on the apply button at the top of the REACH website. Please note that your application and credentials must be reviewed and approved for membership before you can purchase a ticket or attend an event.

Thanks to the generosity of our host venues and event sponsors, we are able to keep the cost to attend REACH events low. To offset the minimal costs, REACH events will sometimes have a ticket cost associated with them. We strive to make those costs partially refundable to attendees when possible, but the structure of some of our events sometimes may require a non-refundable ticketing fee, as is the case with our Spring 2024 event. Complimentary wine and beer and "light bites" will be available. Ticketing also allows us to more accurately plan for attendance so that our sponsors and REACH can both make the most of the event and budget accordingly, thereby reducing waste.

REACH Beyond Tickets

REACH Beyond tickets represent the best value for our events. REACH Beyond ticketholders who also attend the event on May 23 will receive three raffle tickets for a raffle drawing that evening (you must be present to win!). REACH Beyond tickets will be available for purchase until 5pm on Sunday, May 5. REACH Beyond tickets for our May 23, 2024 event are non-refundable, and 100% of your ticket purchase goes directly to the operational costs of REACH and to keep our events going.

REACH Up Tickets

REACH Up ticketholders who also attend the event on May 23 will receive one raffle ticket for a raffle drawing that evening (you must be present to win!). REACH Up tickets will be available for purchase from 5pm on Sunday, May 5 until 5pm on Monday, May 20. REACH Up tickets for our May 23, 2024 event are non-refundable, and 100% of your ticket purchase goes directly to the operational costs of REACH and to keep our events going.

REACH Out Tickets

REACH Out tickets are available for those last-minute planners! REACH Out ticketholders will have the option to buy raffle tickets at the event. REACH Out tickets will be available for purchase from 5pm on Monday, May 20 until 12pm on Thursday, May 23. REACH Out tickets for our May 23, 2024 event are non-refundable, and 100% of your ticket purchase goes directly to the operational costs of REACH and to keep our events going.. Purchasing a REACH Up ticket is a great way to show support for REACH, even if you are unable to attend the event!

We'd like to reiterate that 100% of all ticket proceeds go entirely toward offsetting the cost to operate REACH. If you attend an event and have a great time, we hope you'll consider spreading the word or buying raffle tickets to support future REACH events.

Event Sponsors

Our March event space is being provided thanks to the generosity of Jackie Kline at Hines and her property management team at 131 South Dearborn. Hines is a standout supporter of our profession, of REACH, and for partners. Hines has sponsored space for our REACH event in March 2024 as well as Be The Ultimate Assistant workshops across the country. REACH in general, and I in particular, are enormously grateful to them for their partnership and support.

REACH has invited Jackie and her team at Hines to join us at our May event, to meet REACH members, and to offer small-group tours of available (and BEAUTIFUL!) space in their building, formerly occupied by Convene. The former tenant’s buildout showcases the space beautifully, and 50,000+ SF of space is available for lease (and possibly as event space with those particulars needing to be worked through with Hines directly). REACH events offer a unique opportunity for members to meet colleagues but also to see spaces in Chicago and conduct site visits with a drink in hand, so we encourage our members to take advantage of these quick, small-group tours.
